CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Poetry Planetariat #11

World Poetry Movement (WPM) invites submission of poems for the 11th volume of its magazine Poetry Planetariat.

THEME: The theme for this volume is “Palestine.” We encourage poetry submissions that express solidarity with the people of Palestine who are made the victims of wars. The poems are expected to promote the idea of upholding people’s rights to life and dignity. 

LENGTH OF POEM: Not exceeding 50 lines

LANGUAGE OF SUBMISSIONS: You can submit your poem related to the theme in any of the four languages: English, Spanish, French, or Arabic. Poems in any other language should be translated into any one of the above languages you want to get published in.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 30th September 2025

MEETING OF NATIONAL COORDINATORS WPM IN AFRICA

The meeting was convened to revitalize the African coordination and to listen to the concerns and proposals of the national coordinators on the work of WPM in each country, to establish a more constant coordination between the countries, holding frequent meetings and advancing in joint tasks.

The peoples of the world have the certainty to continue defending the human spirit and pursue the dream of living in peace, respecting diversity and difference, in a healthy environment and guaranteeing a decent life for humanity. Poetry carries this dream, and that is the voice of the World Poetry Movement.
The World Poetry Movement calls upon poets, writers, thinkers, journalists, and all creative individuals worldwide to be the voice of truth, justice, and freedom in the world, expressing the human spirit in all ages.

The orientation for the national coordinators follows the line of the WPM Manifesto: For a World Poetry Revolution. We must take poetry to all corners of the planet, share readings, reflections on the essentiality of poetry. It is proposed to advance in the realization of workshops and pedagogical experiences in each country, in accordance with local policies, with the participation of outstanding poets.
